Better days have come my way and I'm not one that likes to say
That world is so gray, but things are pretty crappy.
I lost my money, lost my mom and everything I had is gone.
Go ahead and pile it on.

I knew that these days would come,
But I'd rather be here playing in the sun.
Right now I may feel down,
But the world's gonna spin and things will turn around.

Clouds are rolling back again now, I'm at my ropes end,
All I need is my true friend, but things are pretty crappy.
