The spirit of night calls me
Just like a whim that haunts me
I am not done, I must consume my ego
I am a universal laborer of thought
I tremble of being
Over the clouds I spread my wings
To higher heavens I reach out

Seek the truth, given in its presence
We will soak in the taste of absinthe
And lighten our hearts, with green fairies

Beaten is the burden that holds me down
I shudder in vertigo, as I reach the battlefield
The thought of death heaves me higher
I bow to thee primordial
I'll be strong and brave, you are my flame
I am he who eternally ascends
